AKIKO HIRAI ROUND FACETED BACK HANDLE TEAPOT IN WHITE JERSEY TOPS then hammered on all fourHandcrafted in London, a limited edition collection by renowned Japanese ceramicist Akiko Hirai. Akiko Rock Teapots. She forms each teapot by hand. During firing, serendipitous colours and blemishes occur, giving each piece its own distinct texture and life. Her distinctive works emerge from a rare balance of masterful craft and the unpredictable reaction of minerals and elements within the kiln. Each piece is individual.
