More reloads and firings are required before the brass gets too hard to resize and develops stress fractures and cracks. These are abysmally terrible. As a result, the more you can revitalize and relax the brass, the longer it will last. This is why I'm so interested in the brass annealing process: consistency equals repeatability, which is what you want in
